Summitville Tiles, Inc. of Summitville, Columbiana County, Ohio, was founded in 1912 as the Summit Brick Co. In 1920, F. H. Johnson converted operations to the manufacturing of face brick. The company flourished and became well known for their deep red bricks called "Summitville Reds." In 1947, F. H.
